Subaru Forester - an updated version of the fourth generation "forester", which differs from the pre-reform crossover in modified headlights with LED daytime running lights, more "strict" taillights and a redrawn radiator grille. The design of the front bumper and the size of the rims depends on the specific configuration and engine - the top versions are available with a sports body kit and “eighteenth” aluminum rims, while the initial ones are offered with a simplified bumper and 17-inch rims.

However, more changes occurred in the Forester's cabin: a new steering wheel from Subaru Outback, power windows with Auto function, and heated front seats came as standard. Also included in the list of standard equipment are heated exterior mirrors, an electric driver's seat, three 12-volt sockets, and a Hill Start Assist system.

The range of Subaru Forester includes two gasoline "aspirated" and one turbo engine:

• 2.0-liter develops 150 hp. power and torque of 198 Nm, combined with a 6-speed "mechanics" and a variator;
• The 2.5-liter produces 171 hp. and 235 Nm, paired with a variator;
• The 2.0-liter turbo engine develops 241 hp. and 350 Nm, combined with a variator.

The top Forester configurations are equipped with 2-zone climate control, cruise control, rain and light sensors, power tailgate, heated steering wheel and all seats. In addition, adaptive headlights and a multimedia system with a 7-inch touch screen are available for the updated version of the crossover. The latter can be connected via USB or Bluetooth. One of the “highlights” of the model is that the opening height of the fifth door can be programmed, which is convenient in a garage with a low ceiling.

The ground clearance of the Subaru Forester declared by the manufacturer is 220 mm. The crossover is produced in Japan.
