Subaru Outback - An updated version of the five-door, presented in March 2012 at the New York Auto Show, received a modified front bumper, restyled headlights, fog lights, and a grille. In addition, the Outback was also refreshed with new design rims.
Inside, the station wagon received other finishing materials. A 3.5-inch color display appeared on the center console. For top modifications, a seven-inch screen with navigation and advanced features is now offered.
The main emphasis during the update was on changes in the chassis. To improve the response of the rather big D-class wagon to steering deflections, retuned shock absorbers and less pliable, but at the same time longer springs were installed in front and behind the car.
As before, the separate backrests of the rear sofa can be individually adjusted in terms of the angle of inclination. Trunk volume in the normal state is 490 liters, and with the rear seats folded down - 1,690.
The range of engines includes two petrol boxes:
a volume of 2.5 liters (167 hp, 229 Nm), paired with a CVT;
volume of 3.6 liters (248 hp, 350 Nm), paired with a five-band “automatic”.
Ground clearance Subaru Outback is 213 mm. Regardless of the motor, all versions of the model are equipped with a permanent all-wheel drive system. The car is produced in Japan.
