Description Subaru Outback

Subaru Outback is an all-wheel drive all-terrain wagon built on the same platform as the Legacy sedan. The current generation of the model debuted in 2014. Overall dimensions have slightly increased, new lighting equipment and a larger radiator grille have appeared, but the proportions and “brutal” style have been preserved. The Japanese did not stint on ground clearance - 213 mm. For comparison, the crossover Subaru Forester ground clearance is 220 mm.

In the new model, the windshield was “moved away” from the driver by 51 mm, and the angle of its installation was also changed. At the same time, the height of the driver's seat and the location of the side mirrors have been changed, which had a positive effect on visibility. Also, better materials were used in the interior decoration, sound insulation was improved, and buttons were added for the convenience of folding the rear seats.

The range of power units of the new Subaru Outback is represented by two petrol boxers: a four-cylinder 2.5-liter (175 hp, 235 Nm) and a six-cylinder 3.6-liter (260 hp, 350 Nm). Both are paired with a Lineatronic CVT.

The basic Outback equipment includes 18-inch alloy wheels, 6 airbags, front and rear power windows, climate control, a multimedia system with a 7-inch display and USB. At the top level of equipment, the station wagon is offered with leather interior, keyless entry and keyless engine start, Harman Cardon audio system, High Beam Assist, blind spot sensors and other equipment.

Production of Subaru Outback for our market is established in Japan.
