The restyled Subaru XV entered the market in 2016. It can be distinguished from the pre-reform model by the front bumper with vertical sections of foglights with chrome L-shaped inserts and a more prominent air intake. Another characteristic feature - a chrome insert stylized under the wings on the false radiator grille has become more embossed. Thus, even without changing in size, XV now looks more like Forester.
The driver of the updated XV is greeted by a modified dashboard and better finishing materials: rubberized plastic, heating system air ducts with metal-like edging and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with contrasting stitching. In addition to this, the Japanese began to install a windshield of increased thickness and improved the sound insulation of the engine compartment.
Subaru XV is equipped with an all-wheel drive system by default. But in our market, the choice of engines is still limited to two gasoline opponents:
Gearboxes - five (for a 1.6-liter engine) and six-speed (for a 2.0-liter) “mechanics”, as well as a Lineatronic variator.
Already in the "base" Subaru XV boasts retractable headlight washers, heated front seats, hill start assist, automatic air conditioning, heated mirrors and other systems. The list of additional options includes xenon headlights with auto-corrector, a power glass sunroof, a keyless entry and engine start system, as well as a Subaru Starlink multimedia system with a 6.2-inch display and navigation.
Ground clearance Subaru XV is 220 mm. Serial production of the model has been established in Japan.
